Compatibility and Requirements

SkyBridge is currently compatible with Unistellar telescopes.

Our next integration milestone is support for ASCOM-compatible telescope systems, which will significantly expand participation across observatories and advanced amateur setups.

What Telescopes Need to Use SkyBridge

To be compatible with SkyBridge, your telescope will require the following capabilities:

Network Connectivity

Ability to connect to SkyBridge’s communication network, either via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable.

Automated Mount Control

A computer-controlled mount capable of automated pointing and tracking of celestial objects.

Camera Control

A computer-controlled digital camera integrated with the telescope for imaging purposes.
